Our spring 4 on 4 pond hockey program is played on a smaller rink with less bodies on the ice to get kids more touches of the puck. This means that all the kids are more involved on the ice and develop both their confidence and skills at a faster pace. Kids experience more passing, checking, stick handling and shooting then in a regular hockey game. Each week the kids are broken up into new teams and ice time is controlled by a two minute buzzer. This program has been a big success over the years and we see it only grow with more focus moving towards small area games.
