2016 Spring Hockey Tournaments

Inside Edge moves into 2016 hosting three tournaments in Vancouver of April, May and June. Each tournament has a limited amount of space and they all target specific calibre of teams. The BC Mayhem is the newest tournament that Inside Edge looks to run in 2016. This tournament runs over May Long weekend and fits in nicely between the Pacific Spring Showcase and BC Spring Classic.

The first tournament that they will be hosting is the Pacific Spring Showcase April 15 – 17th. The Pacific Spring Showcase is going into it’s fifth year and is a AAA Elite tournament hosting BC’s best teams and a few other teams from outside the Province. The tournament’s success has come from limiting the tournament to only 64 teams and giving the kids a bunch of swag that they don’t see in any other top level tournament. The Pacific Spring Showcase takes place at Planet Ice Coquitlam and Planet Ice Delta, you can find more information on their tournament website at www.psshockey.com.

The BC Mayhem is the newest tournament event that Inside Edge will be managing. The BC Mayhem is a boys AA tournament and a girl’s AAA calibre event. This tournament will run out of Planet Ice Delta over May Long Weekend and is limited to only 32 teams. Kids participating in this tournament will see a unique event compared to other local tournaments. Tournament swag bags, music playing in between whistles and a Championship Belt for the winning teams in each division. You can visit www.bcmayhem.com to find more information on this fun tournament.

The third tournament that Inside Edge hosts is the BC Spring Classic. This is a great spring wrap up tournament offering AAA and AA divisions. Teams can organize pizza parties up stairs and the players receive MVP Awards, Tournament T Shirts and other swag items. This is the fourth year of the BC Spring Classic and it has been sold out each of the last two years. Teams play in only one facility the entire weekend and players and coaches leave with a smile after a fun spring hockey season. You can visit the tournament website at www.bcspringclassic.com.

The three tournament events look to host 3000 kids this spring in the lower mainland of BC. We hope to see you at one of our tournament events and look forward to getting your feedback. Inside Edge looks to be involved in your child’s hockey delivering a fun and positive experience.
